IAS(Indian Administrative Service) exam


This exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) once in a year.


Eligibility criteria:-
There is no need of percentage to be apply for this exam.

Age limit:- 21-30 yrs for general contendors.

You must be a citizen of india.

The candidate should be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university of india.

The acronym for IAS is Indian Administrative Services.

First of all, I would like to tell you that you do not feel sad and embarassed, you are eligible to write IAS examination even if you are a handicapped.

IAS examination is a civil services examination and is conducted in three phases. Here, it is prescribed as below:-

* Preliminary examination.

* Mains examination.

* Interview.

The qualifications required for this IAS examinations are prescribed as below:-

* Graduation in any stream from any recognised college or university.

* Age limit:- a) 21-30 yrs for general contendors.
b) 21-33 yrs for OBC contendors.
c) 21-35 yrs for SC/ST contendors.

* Nationality:- Indian.

Yes you are absolutely eligible to write the IAS Examination if you are handicapped.

The Eligibility Criteria for Civil Services IAS Exam are :

* you must hold a Bachelor`s Degree in any stream from any recognized college/university.

* Age Criteria :

you must be an Indian.

The Examination is conducted in three stages :

a) Preliminary Examination

My friend Physically handicapped are definitely eligible to appear for Indian Administrative Service exam. As the matter of fact, government of India reserves some vacancies in the IAS for the Physically Handicapped candidates.

However to be eligible for that quota, you should have disability of Forty per cent or more. Therefore you can apply for the Indian Administrative Service. The physically handicapped candidates are not eligible for the Indian Police Service.


Eligibility

1. Candidate should be Indian citizen.

2. A bachelor degree from any recognized college.

3. There is no minimum percentage requirement.

4. Age limit is 21 to 30 years.

5. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC.

6. SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation.


Physical Requirements

F - Work performed by fingers

PP - Work performed by pulling & pushing

L - Work performed by lifting

KC - Work performed by kneeling and crouching

B - Work performed by bending

S - Work performed by sitting

ST - Work performed by standing

W - Work performed by walking

SE - Work performed by seeing

H - Work performed by hearing/speaking

RW - Work performed by reading and writing

as i am being physically handicap student of engineering (final year) ,is i am being eligible to write ias exam
