The candidate should have a post graduation degree in the same subject on which he wants to purse M.Phil, from a recognised University with minimum 55% marks in aggregate. Some of the University providing M.Phil. are Anamalia University, Anna University, Madras University etc. |

Re: Can i pursue M.Phil through distance mode? If a candidate has the required eligibility to pursue M.Phil in the concerned subject then surely he can pursue the course through distance education. Generally the minimum qualification is a master degree or equivalent from a recognized university and the master degree should be in the same subject in which M.Phil programme is to be pursued. The minimum aggregate marks is 55%. There are several institution providing the course through distance education. Institutions like Annamalai University, University of Madras - Institute of Distance Education, Anna University etc. offer the M.Phil programme. |
