from above subjects one is management science and Department of Management to be insert MANAGEMENT NOTE The question paper consists of three parts: Part A, Part B, and Part C. Candidates seeking admission to research in management must compulsorily write Part A and one of the five sections in Part B. Part A is on “Analytical Ability and Management Aptitude” and carries 50% weightage. Part B consists of FIVE sections, which are as follows: a) Section I : Business Administration [for MBAs] b) Section II : Economics [for MA (Econ) students] c) Section III : Psychology [for MA or MSc (psycho) students] d) Section IV : Social Work [for MA (SW) students] e) Section V : Management Science [for students with Masters in Mathematical Sciences] Candidates have to choose one section, consistent with their background, in this part. and the special subject which i mention above you can refer to website http://www.iisc.ernet.in/admissions/syllabus2008.htm |

The notification 2011 admission is not yet published. HI...for admission in Phd in IISC bangalore,first you have to pass the NET or GATE examiation.Then you to apply IISC,for the admission test conducted by them for Phd,in the month of April every year.You can check the link:http://www.iisc.ernet.in/admissions/chapter1.htm.No specified syllabus for this examination,you have to cover full syllabus as NET and/or GATE as well as your master degree specialization course. regards!! |

Re: Syllabus of IISC entrance exam for Ph.D admission? in which field you want to do your phd.indian Institute of Science also provides Integrated PhD. programmes in the following disciplines: Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Mathematical Sciences for fresh graduates in the corresponding discipline. The admission in Integrated PhD. programmes is through IISc Entrance Test. Those who clear the Entrance Test are called for Interviews. Final selection is based on performance in the written test as well as interview. |
