VAO stands for Village Administrative Officers. To recruit these officers an examination is conducted by the Tamilnadu Public Service Commission. The notification is generally released whenever there is a vacancy for this post-one for the SC/ST candidates and one for the other categories. Educational Qualification: You need a secondary school leaving certificate to sit for this exam. That is the minimum qualification required. Even if you have higher qualifications this will still be needed. Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum age limit is 30 years for general category candidates. Age Relaxation: For the reserved category candidates the upper age limit is 40 years. Other important Criteria: You need to be physically fit during the time of the exam. To prove your fitness you will be asked to show medical certificates. You should be well versed in Tamil language. If you dont know how to speak in Tamil then you need to sit for the Tamil exam conducted by TNPSC. Examination Pattern: There will be 200 questions to answer and the total time available is three hours. You need 90 marks minimum to qualify to the next stage of selection. There will be two sections under the written exam. 1) General Knowledge and 2) English. The first paper is set in both English and Tamil. For the papers please download the attachments. Eligibility and Criteria: A candidate should have completed their Graduation Degree in any stream. Age limit between 21-30 years. there is a relaxation available on upper age for OBC and SC/ST category. Paper from Here :click here.. Dear friend , To appear in the VAO exam , following eligibility is necessary : *candidate must have pass 12th or graduation . *age should be between 22 to 30 years for general category . age relaxation is provided to OBC/SC/ST as per government rule. *candidate must know tamil language. i attech some files , i hope that it will help you . umang_28 |
