Re: Can I get admission in B.Ed course after scoring 43% marks in B.A? what course are there for post graduation I mean I got only 43 % in My B.com and I want to be a teacher in good school or in government school so please kindly suggest me what course I should do? |

Re: Can I get admission in B.Ed course after scoring 43% marks in B.A? I am afraid that you can not apply for the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course with just 43 percent marks in Bachelor of Arts. The Bachelor of Education is one year course taken after completing graduation. You should only apply for B.Ed if interested in teaching field. After completing the course, candidate can apply for teacher's job in private as well government schools. During the one year course, candidate is trained to teach different subjects to students. These subjects depends on the bachelor course of the candidate. For example, Bachelor of Arts graduate will be trained for subjects like History, Geography and Languages. But its irrelevant in your case since you are not eligible for Bachelor of Education. Eligibility 1. Must have a bachelor degree. 2. At least 50 percent marks in graduation. 3. OBC need 45 percent marks to apply. 4. SC and ST need 40 percent marks. 5. Your educational pattern should be 10+2+3. If you are interested in teaching line, then it would be better if you pursue post graduation and ensure at least 55 percent marks. By doing so, you will be eligible for the National Eligibility Test which is conducted for the college lectureship. |

Re: Can I get admission in B.Ed course after scoring 43% marks in B.A? No, I'm sorry but you are not eligible for giving the B.eD exam as your percentage in bachelors degree BA is less. A minimum of 50% marks are necessary in order to get eligible for the B.ed exam. Even if you belong to sc st, then also the required minimum eligibility percentage are 45%. Sorry hard luck |

Graduation is the basic qualification which is necessary to apply for the same. Apart from this, it is compulsory that you should score 50% marks in graduation. SC/ST/OBC categories get relaxation in marks. A written examination will be the basis of selection for B.Ed course. On clearing written exam, you will have to attend teaching demo and personal interview. To make a career in the teaching line probably you can complete MA or you need to consider other career alternatives. |
