GATE means Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering Examination and the examination was conducted by the IIT's Mainly GATE examination is to get a admission in M.Tech programmes in different IIT's. Every year Large no.of candidates are appeared for this examination. What is the last date to apply for GATE 12 examination? Important dates of this examination :- Date of Online Application forms :- 12/Sept/11 Last date for Online Applications :- 17/OCT/11 Availability of admit card of Zonal GATE Website :- 09/Jan/12 Date of Announcement of results :- 15/Mar/12 Eligibility for GATE examination :- Four year graduate degree in engineering/technology/architecture and those who are appearing in the final year of degree course can also apply for this examination. Four year graduate degree in engineering/technology/architecture(Post-B.Sc/Post-Diploma) and those who are appearing in the final year of degree course can also apply for this examination. The candidates who are completed or appearing in the final year of master degree can also apply for this examination.But the master degree in Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Application. The candidate who are studying pre-final year of examination are not eligible to appear for this examination. For over all you can prefer the G.K.Publisher's book .But it will be great i you can prepare different subjects with its specialized books like - Network Analysis by VanValkenburg Control system by Nagrath and Gopal Digital Electronics from Shalivanon Electronics devises by Boylestead Communication by Sanjay Sharma Hope those books and tips will help you .
