 NDA - National Defense Academy, exams conducted under the UPSC twice every year. Now according to your quest and your date of birth I would like to say that you are unfortunately not eligible for the next NDA examination held on 14th Of April , 2013. As per the latest notifications the candidates who borns in between 2nd January 1995 to 1st July 1997 are eligible for NDA. Thanks. |

NDA stands for National Defence Academy(NDA) NDA exam are for following wings Indian Army Indian NAvy Indian Airforce Eligibility 1. the candidate must be an indian citizen. 2. the candidate must be an unmarried male. 3. the candidate must be passed/appeared in 12th with a govt. recognized niversity. 4. he must be in between 16.5-19 years. The Union Public Service Commission conducts the NDA Exam twice every year in the months of April and August under the names of NDA-I & NDA-II. The next NDA Exam will held on 14th Of April , 2013. As per the notifications , only those candidates can apply who have born between 2nd January 1995 to 1st July 1997. So , you cannot appear in the next NDA Exam. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |

 NDA stands for National Defence Academy. Yes, you are eligible for NDA examination as per as your present age. But, I also would like to tell you that sorry you are not eligible for NDA-I examination. NDA examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year in three wings are mentioned as below:- * Indian Army. * Indian Navy. * Indian Air Force. This examination is taken by three processes are mentioned as below:- * Written examination. * SSB interview. * Medical examination. The eligibility criteria required for NDA examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of 12th from any recognised board. * Age limit- 16.5-19 yrs. * Age relaxation- There is no age relaxation. * Nationality- Indian. * Sex- Male. * Marital status- Single or unmarried. The eligibility criteria required for NDA-I examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of 12th from any recognised board. * Sex- Male. * Nationality- Indian. * Marital status- Unmarried or single. * Age limit- A contendor must be born between 2nd january,1995 and 1st july,1997. Re: Am I eligible for NDA I if I am 18 years old? If your age is 18 years according to the NDA notification then you can apply for NDA examination. There is a date mentioned in the notification from which the age is calculated .If you are between 16.5 to 19 years according to that date then you can apply for NDA examination. NDA is conducted twice in a year and you can apply for it when the notification are out. The notifications come in the month of May/June and Nov/December. The online application is available on http://www.upsconline.nic.in After applying you have to wait for the examination date . Then take your Admit card from website and appear for the examination. The examination is a thee tier process in which you have to give an Objective Type Paper, SSB Interview and Medical Examination. If you perform well in these tests then no one can stop you from getting selected in NDA. For more information visithttp://www.upsc.gov.in |

Re: Am I eligible for NDA I if I am 18 years old? ya offcourse you are eligible to give NDA at the age of 18 since the age limit is 16.5 to19 only unmarried males are egilible to give this exam you have pass your 12 th from recognised university. their are three stages of NDA 1 you have to give written exam. after qualifying written exam 2. Their will be interview 3. physical test. best luck thanks. |

(i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Hello dear aspirant, No you are eligible for applying NDA this yeas because the eligibility for applying for NDA 1 2013 is: Candidates date of birth must lie between 02 January, 1995 to 01 July 1997.
