Considering you an outside Karnataka state candidate it sounds very close to impossible but if you analyse the AIEEE counseling pattern very well, it could be possible. In the first round of counseling all the good branches of top colleges are filled very by top rankers. Many fresher students do not take admission expecting to do better next time. Many get admission in a better college. That is why subsequent round of counselings are required. e.g. in the year 2010 the last rank to get ECE at NIT Surathkal was 701 in the first round of counseling but it was AIR 5773 in the last (7th) round of counseling. http://ccb.nic.in/ |
