CSAT stands for Civil Service Aptitude Test.  The first stage of civil service examination is CSAT, which is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission). The forms of preliminary will be available from 2 February, 2013 to 4 March, 2013. Dates of preliminary examination and mains examination are- 19 May, 2013 (Prelims) and 8 November, 2013 (Mains). The educational qualifications regarding with civil service examination are below mentioned:- * Graduation in any stream from any recognised college/university. * Age criteria- 21-30(General), 21-33(OBC), and 21-35(SC/ST). How To Prepare For CSAT CSAT (Civil Service Aptitude Test) is the first stage of the Civil Services Exam which is conducted by UPSC every year.. A candidate can appear for the Civil Service Exam if :- >> The candidate is within the age limit of 21-30 years,21-33 years for OBC and 21-35 years for SC/ST.. >> Candidate must have completed graduation in any stream from a recognized institute.. CSAT tests you on the basis of 2 objective papers based on aptitude and general awareness.. You can refer to the following books for your preparations of CSAT :-      The Prelims forms shall be available from 2nd February,2013 to 4th March,2013 The Prelims shall be held on 19th May,2013 and the Mains will be held on 8th November,2013 You can also visit http://upsc.gov.in for more details about the exam.. If you clear the CSAT exam only then you can apply for CS Mains Exam. Eligibility Criteria: 1. Graduation in any stream. 2. Eligibility Criteria Age Limit Age of the candidate is 21 to 30 year. there are relaxation in age for category candidate 3 year age relaxation for OBC candidate and 5 year for SC/ST candidate Educational Candidate must be graduate in any stream from recognized university final year candidate can also apply. there is no percentage limit and no restriction of branch or stream in graduation. IMPORTANT DATES--- notification 02/02/2013, last date of submission: 04/03/2013 Date of prelim exam. 19/05/2013 Best of luck |
