If you want to join Indian Army as an officer then you can apply for following exams based on your qualifications: -For 10+2 passed there is NDA examination by UPSC every year twice. You can apply for NDA online by visiting http://www.upsconline.nic.in -For Graduates there is CDS examination by UPSC. You can apply for CDS examination through online application by visiting http://www.upsconline.nic.in For non officers post you have to apply by sending the hard copy of the filled application form to the required address. You can apply for indian Army through www.upsc.gov.in as it will redirect you to the page for online application for CDSE and NDA these exams are basically conducted by upsc to recruit person for indian army,indian air force and indian navy. there are also some other websites are there for indian army are. www.joinindianarmy.nic.in and www.indianarmy.nic.in Cds stands for combined defence services and nda stands for NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY. Graduate in any discipline can apply for CDS and 12th with any stream can apply for NDA. |

NDA exam stands for the NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY (NDA). The educational qualification needed for this examination is a 12th degree from a recognized board.If you are a IAF & NA aspirant , you must have subjects physics & maths in class 12th. Imposing edifice that it is, it was hardly suitable to house a complex entity such as this. Supreme Headquarters at that time retained its seat in South Block and refused to share space. Mercifully, it was wound up in short order. Today Army Headquarters occupies portions of South Block along with a gigantic, architecturally modern Sena Bhavan adjacent.
