Re: When to register and how to register for CA CPT course? CA CPT is now replaced with CA foundation course. Now you can only register for CA foundation. For register in CA foundation, you can register for this course after appearing in 12th examination constituted by the law or recognised by the Central Government and appear in the Foundation examination after passing 12th Examination. You can get registration in this course by filling CA foundation online application form available on the ICAI website under the course registration form under the student's tab. The test is conducted twice a year, in the month of June and December. To appear for CPT conducted in the month of June, you have to apply before 1st April and if you want to appear for the CPT conducted in the month of December, you must apply before 1st October.
