The minimum eligibility for a candidate seeking admission in INS Shivaji is that he should be class 12 pass with minimum 70% aggregate marks with Physics , Chemistry and Maths and 55% in English. The minimum age at the time of admission should be 16 years six months and maximum 19 years old. The candidate should also be unmarried and single. The candidate has to appear for the INS Shivaji written Examinations and on successfully qualifying the candidate has to face the Services Selection Board- SSB interview. Aspiring candidates should develop skills on following points to face the SSB board; Personality Development OLQ (Officers Like Qualities) Psychological tests GTO (Ground Testing Officer) tests.
