It was conducted to regulate admissions several medical colleges across country. PMT exams were conducted in two phases, prelims and mains. Age limit :- For General category candidate age limit is 17 to 25 years. OBC category candidates age limit is 17 years to 28 years. For SC/ST category candidates age limit is 17 to 30 years. Re: What is the age limit for PMT exam Hi, PMT- PRE MEDICAL TEST ELIGIBILITY- age required : 17-25 years For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years for OBC age relaxation is 3 years qualification: 12th wih 60% marks in PCB. For SC/ST the marks percentage relaxation is 10% For OBC percentage relaxation is 5% no of attempts allowed: 3 Best of luck........... |

Re: What is the age limit for PMT exam HELLO,  ABOUT PMT EXAM :- Medical entrance exams in India are conducted through AIPMT until 2012. It stands for All India Pre Medical Test which was conducted by CBSE every year. It was conducted to regulate admissions several medical colleges across country. . PMT exams were conducted in two phases, prelims and mains. However AIPMT and all individual medical entrance exams will be replaced by NEET since from 2013. NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. It offers entrance exam for medical students who aspire to pursue MBBS, BD, MS or MD from any reputable medical college in India. It will be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE. First exam of this entrance test is proposed to be held on 5th May, 2103. AGE LIMIT :- Candidates must have attained the age of 17 years, but not more than 25 years . However 5 years of relaxation to SC/ST category. So as you said that your date of birth is 5-10-1996 , so yes you can apply for the PMT exam as from 2013 your age will be 17 years , which is the staring age for PMT EXAM ,so no need to worry . EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :- : The candidates needs to pass out their 10+2 level of exam with a good score and they must have a Science stream in their 10+2 level . Re: What is the age limit for PMT exam Hi Your age should be in between 17 - 26 years.So you can apply here up to 26 years age of you . For additional information: Those candidate have completed 12th standard are eligible for AIPMT exam but your 12th standard subject must be Physics , Chemistry , Biology and English.Also you must score 50% in all above mention subjects.For SC/ST candidate this percentage is reduced to 40%.
