DEAR FRIEND See my this is very easy to score two digit marks in GATE.Don't be tensed, believe me my friend just follow the following guidelines given below and you will be succeed .. 1. maintain time table 2. read at least two to four subjects very well from where a lot of question come generally every year. 3. prepare the Quantative aptitude from R.S.Agarwal 4. practice the mathematical portion very well. 5. if you can you may remember some verbal question from R.S.Agarwal. The best way for the M.Tech is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) which is an all-India examination administered and conducted in eight zones such that One Indian Institute of Science(IISc),Bangalore and the Seven IITs(Bombay,Kharagpur,Kanpur,Guahati,Roorkee,Madra s,Delhi) through this examination you can take admission in India's top most colleges like: 1. Indian Institute of Science(IISc),Bangalore 2. Indian Institute of Technology,Bombay 3. Indian Institute of Technology,Kharagpur 4. Indian Institute of Technology,Kanpur 5. But Remember Nothing is impossible for a Great thought. just perfect planning and great Desire can make your listing in top 100 ranking list. GATE being the toughest entrance exam at the level of graduation. is the target of the most engineering students for various reasons like for their higher study certificates. for the 2 digit rank you have to work very hard right from your first year of engineering . keeping this as target you have to sacrifice many possessions. and one more thing is you should go to a good coaching center to enhance your subject skills and also increase your competitive spirit make right buddies. who have the same aspiration like you to get a good rank in GATE exam make your thoughts deeds towards getting a good rank. as you prepare for GATE very time . Time is money for you. So you have to respect the time utmost. your every second of preparation should take you closer to success. Coaching is not only enough. you have to also do very hard work after coming to home. you have to spare max of your time for preparation. you have to get regularly updated about the changing syllabus. a you have to know more and more about latest question asking techniques you have to understand what is expected by you from the questioner. you have to live upto the standards of GATE panel. these are the some tips i would follow if I write the GATE entrance exam. You have to make the beauty for every second. Every moment is valuable for you. Take care of your health and also personal lifetoo . They are also important for tension free preparation. Again telling you without coaching it is real tough to score a good rank in highly competitve examination. because there are many advantages joining in coaching centers. ->you will be highly concentrated with their external over attention on you. ->you will not disturbed by many things due to the reason that you are attending for coaching classes. ->you will get great deal of knowledge on how preparation should go and how to acheive great ranks with simple steps. ->if you be in isolation you miss all of them ->you can also get grooved with the aspirants like you. ->there is a lot scope to proper in coaching institutes due to the environment present there. ->finally ,Coaching center will nurture and enhance the value for your preparation. It can't be done in isolation. Hope you got the gist of my post. few clear things are ->your goal is high ->you need to take some experienced advise ->its not that easy to get 2 digit rank by doing your preparation in Isolation. for a better life sparing 10K bucks for coaching is not a bad investment. think about it. all the best for your future |

Dear aspirant, GATE stands for graduate aptitude test in engineering,is an exam conducted by IIT's for giving admission to students into MTech.You can crack the GATE exam without coaching also.In gate most of questions are asked from basics,they are not going into depth.From the basics they are asking typical questions.So if you are good grip in basics you can do well in the exam.Usually in gate questions won't repeat.Follow some standard books and solve as many previous question papers as possible.In gate they are also asking questions from aptitude ,so don't neglect the aptitude also.In general in gate questions from mathematics are quite easy compared to other subjects,so prepare the concepts of mathematics well.If you really work hard you can easily crack the exam. **********ALL THE BEST********* |

Re: Is it possible to get a good rank in GATE without taking Coaching? hello friends,i want some sort of solution to my problem in which i m engaged.it is that i m a dropper got 141 marks in jee mains 2013 and took M.I.T college of engineering in PUNE,but somehow i was not comfortable there and had cancelled my admission and came back home.NOW i m only left with JAYPEE GUNA,but the thing is there is no coaching for GATE,and i have to do that only.SO i wanted to know whether i should take admission there nd prepare for gate on my own OR i should drop this year also? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post ur comments buddy as i m in a very worst situation right now.... |

You can apply to the university in which you are interested by applying through post or contacting through the university directly. You can also check their websites for admissions in which you have to submit your GATE score card. Thank you!! |

Re: Is it possible to get a good rank in GATE without taking Coaching? hiiii,,,, Its better to go for GATE coaching because it will be helpful for several reasons: --it will be a revision of concepts you have studied already. --you can learn something which you have left out. --you will have a chance to study and go through daily and you will be in touch with the concepts else you will become lazy to take the book and read. --there will be a sort of guidance to you. You will definitely perform better.. Good luck |

GATE is not a simple exam to crack and at this level you always feel insecure .so coaching is a perfect place to prepare for exams like GATE.self study is not simple and also after joining coaching you experiance positive feeling and believe me this positive feeling is very helpful. good luck. |

DEAR FRIENDS, yes , it is possible to get good rank in the gate exams without joining any coaching institutes.self study is the best way for the study.and so there is no any problem if you will not join the coaching classes,but give too much time for the self study.but i will suggest you that you must join any test series that will definately help you and will improve the rank. |

Hi...all, i think it's hardwork and determination that matters..I know a friend of mine, who is below average in his b.tech and even got lot of supplymentary papers..but he got around all those and wrote gate..he didn't even attended any coaching class..Now he's in iisc bangalore..and his rank was within top 10.. Work hard with determination and u'll conquer.. |

Re: Is it possible to get a good rank in GATE without taking Coaching? yea it is possible. just a very good study and sincerity is sufficient to get a good score in GATE. read all the text book carefully. give attention to the syllabus of the GATE. buy one book for GATE and practice it. you may choose the book GATE 2011 by G.K. Publishers but there is lots of mistake. be carefull about this. otherwise it's a very good book for GATE. this much work is sufficient to do a good score in GATE. don't need of any coaching. |

Please also join test series in the month of december and january for GATE. And meanwhile do prepare for GATE and give each topic not more than 15 days. Syllabus will be finished before Dec. This is just a planning layout of GATE preparation. Basics cannot be cleared with just notes of BT, you should refer Books in this regards. |

GK publishers 2. Gate by HANDA 3. R.K Rajput etc.. u can solve previous year question papers of GATE to get a basic idea about the question pattern. u have study ur text books very well, make ur basic concept clear.. if u do these things u can surely ret good rank in GATE.. all the best. |
