Re: Am I eligible for Indian Navy? Hello Lack or presence of teeth does not stand as qualification to be a part of the Indian Navy. Physical fitness tests are carried out to check height,weight,eye sight etc. Following is the list of eligibility criteria for different stream of jobs: Engineer or Executive in Naval Architecture 1. Candidate must have Maths and Physics as subjects in 10+2 and passes this with minimum 55% marks. 2. Age limit should be between 16.5-19 years 3. Only male candidates can apply. Artificer Apprentice: 1. Candidate must have Maths and Physics as subjects in 10+2 and passes this with minimum 55% marks. 2. Age limit should be between 17-20 years Senior Secondary Recruitment: 1. Candidate must have Maths and Physics as subjects in 10+2 and passes this with minimum 55% marks. 2. Age limit should be between 17-21 years All the best |

Well, In Indian Navy, according to the post you applied for eligibility criteria is different.  A. In order to become an Engineer or Executive in Naval Architecture: Eligibility Criteria: 1. Candidate must have Maths and Physics as subjects in 10+2 and passes this with minimum 55% marks. 2. Age limit should be between 16.5-19 years 3. Only male candidates can apply. B. In order to become an Artificer Apprentice: Eligibility Criteria: 1. Candidate must have Maths and Physics as subjects in 10+2 and passes this with minimum 55% marks. 2. Age limit should be between 17-20 years C. For Senior Secondary recruit: Eligibility Criteria: 1. Candidate must have Maths and Physics as subjects in 10+2 and passes this with minimum 55% marks. 2. Lack of one tooth will not constitute a disqualification. A general medical check up is carried out. In this, your height, weight, BP, pulse, vision, hearing ability, etc. are checked. So, go full steam preparing for your joining in Indian Navy. All the best, Sagar. |
