You are a B.Tech. hence you are not eligible to become a Lecturer in Government college. You must have a Post Graduate Degree in Engineering with NET qualification if you want to become a Lecturer in Government colleges. You can take admission in M.Tech. if you want to become a lecturer in government colleges. You can get admission into a M.Tech. college through various entrance examination conducted at state level . But for getting a good college you have to qualify GATE. Those who qualify GATE get stipend while doing M.Tech. So if you qualify GATE then you will have a lot of advantage over others. GATE qualified are also eligible for various PSU companies for the post of Executive Trainee. After completing M.Tech. you have to apply for NET exam and clear it with good score . Then you will be eligible for Government lecturer posts. |

How do I get a government job? hi for becoming a lecturer in a government college, only graduation is not enough. You should first acquire a masters degree and then give the NET exam, NET means national eligibility test, which is conducted by the UGC. For giving the NET exam, you should be having a masters degree with a minimum of 55% marks. There si no age limit in giving the NET exam. Gud luck |

If you want to become government lecturer then you will have to appear for the National Eligibility Test. However you can not appear for the National Eligibility Test as for now because you have completed post graduation. To appear for NET entrance exam, candidate should be post graduate. Only marks in the post graduation course is considered when applying for the National Eligibility Test. Since you have only completed Bachelor of Technology degree, it is not possible for you to appear for NET as for now. It does not matter how good marks you obtained in B.Tech course. You will have to appear for General Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE). It should be followed by the M.Tech course. Only after completing M.Tech you can apply for the National Eligibility Test for lectureship. NET Eligibility 1. You should be of Indian origin. 2. Post graduation degree holder in any stream. 3. At least 55 percent marks in post graduation. 4. SC and ST need 50 percent marks. 5. Final year students of PG can also apply. 6. Your NET subject should be relevant to PG course. 7. The age limit for JRF is 28 years. 8. There is upto 3 years relaxation for OBC. 9. SC and ST are eligible for 5 years relaxation. 10. There is no upper age limit for lectureship. |
