Re: Minimum percentage required to be eligible for IIT JEE? You are eligible to apply for JEE Exam. JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination. The Exam is conducted for the admission in various reputed colleges in Bachelors of Engineering and Bachelors of Architecture. For JEE exam you need 75 percent(General Category) and 70 percent(SC/ST category). your age should be not more than 25 years. After scoring high rank you will get admission in top reputed college or University. |

Here listed below is the eligibility criteria which you have to fulfill for IIT-JEE exam:- ->you should pass the 12th with Physics,Chemistry,Math as well as English. ->You should pass the 12th with the marks of 60% in PCM,5% relaxation for the SC/ST/PD. ->Age limit must be between 25 year. ->You can appear in JEE exam for 2 consecutive years only. Dear Friend , * IIT Stands for Indian Institute of Technology. * The IIT exam is taken every year for the admission of 12th pass outs in B.Tech/B.E./B.Arch . * It is one of the most reputable institutes of the world. * In order to be eligible for IIT JEE , you must fulfill the following : a) you must have passed your 12th with a minimum of 60% marks . b) You must have chosen Physics , chemistry and mathematics as your key subjects in 12th. c) Your age should lie in between 16-24 years. d) You are only allowed to appear in IIT-JEE twice in consecutive years. The official release as per IIT about the percent of marks to be scored are as under: Candidates belonging to GE and OBC categories must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate in QE. SC, ST and PD candidates must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate in QE. The percentage of marks awarded by the Board will be treated as final. If the Board does not award the percentage of marks, it will be calculated based on the marks obtained in all subjects listed in the mark sheet. If any Board awards only letter grades without providing an equivalent percentage of marks on the grade sheet, the candidate should obtain a certificate from the Board specifying the equivalent marks, and submit it at the time of counselling / admission. In case such a certificate is not provided the decision taken by the Joint Implementation Committee (JIC) of IIT-JEE 2012 will be final. All the Best |

Dear friend if you are interested for IIT JEE then I must give you the criteria details.Here is the criteria details for you : 1.You should have Physics,Chemistry and Math in your 12th standard. 2.You should score minimum 60% in Physics,Chemistry and Math. If you fulfill these criteria then you are up for IIT JEE. You must score less than 100 rank to get IIT. |
