Re: How to join Indian Army after completing SSC with 50%? hi,  you can Indian army through ssc exam. ssc exam stands for short service commission. there is three stages to join army;- *written exam *interview *medical test eligibility; 1-you must be graduate from a recognized university. 2-maximum age is 25 years. 3-you MUST BE INDIAN CITIZEN if you have done NCC senior division (army) AND OBTAINED C CERTIFICATION WITH MINIMUM B GRADE, THEN YOU CAN APPLY THROUGH YOUR NCC BRANCH/HQ/ZONAL HQ. for more, http://joinindianarmy.nic.in/inner.a...enu_id=97&id=1 |

Educational Qualifications:- A candidate Should have completed their Graduation in Any Stream with at least 55% from Recognize Universities...... Age Limit :- Indian Military Academy : 19-24 Years , Air Force Academy : 19-23 Years , Naval Academy : 19-22 Years , Officers’ Training Academy :19-25 Years.... Citizenship of INDIA... The period of training at National Defense Academy is around 3 years 6 months and it includes necessary physical and mental training apart from Bachelors Degree program, approved by Jawaharlal Nehru University. To get into the academy, you will have to qualify NDA Exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission. As per your qualification, you are eligible for the NDA Exam provided you are within the age limit of 16 years 6 months - 19 years. To join as an Soldier on the basis of your qualification, you must have attained the age of 17 years 6 months. The maximum age limit is 23 years.
