The eligibility to become an IPS officer is listed below :- 1. All Indian citizen are eligible 2. Graduation is a must 3. Graduation must be done from a recognized university 4. Age limit is 21-30 5. Relaxation in age for OBC, SC and ST candidate So now it is seen that you are right now eligible so if you really wanna be an IPS then first of all complete your graduation with awesome marks and once you clear your second year then start preparation of your entrance exam. Entrance exam is conducted by UPSC every year. The exam is very tough and hard nut to crack so a lot of dedication is required to clear the exam. But give priority to your graduation and after that focus on the preparation of the entrance exam. ALL THE BEST |

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with good Physical Fitness. The eligibility criteria for IPS is 1 you need to be graduate from a recognised university 2 your age limit is 21-30 years(relaxable upto 3 years for obc and 5 year for sc/st) 3 you can attempt for 4 times in general category and 7 year in obc category and no limitation in sc/sta |

The eligible candidate aspiring for IPS, must be an Indian national having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.
