Re: Can a student of 11th class be eligible to join NDA? Dear.. The eligibility of NDA is as follows :- 1. 16.5-19 years of age 2. NO RELAXATION 3. Only Males candidate can apply 4. Only Indian citizen are eligible 5. Only unmarried candidate are eligible 6. Maths and Physics should be compulsory subject Dear as you are not 12th passed then you are not eligible for the exam as of now. But if you remain this serious in future also then i am sure you gonna clear the exam in first attempt itself. SO keep on studying Hope it will help Cheers...!!! |

I am sorry to say you are not eligible for NDA After the completion of your +2 only you can eligible for NDA exam NDA Eligibility : You must be a Indian. You must have to pass 12th stands with PCM from a recognized University. And no any percentage is required for this exam. You are age limit between 16.5 to 19 years. And no age relaxation is here. And you must be unmarried male Selection Process : Written test Interview Medical test All the best |

National Defence Academy(NDA) exam is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health. No, class 11th student cannot join NDA. Only after clearing intermediate, you will be eligible to join NDA. Eligibility for NDA exam- 10+2 with Physics and maths from a recognised board. Age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years. Only unmarried male candidates are allowed. Stages of NDA exam - NDA exam has 3 stages - Written exam Interview ( On clearing written exam) Medical examination ( On clearing Interview) So, first you complete class 12th with good marks and then you can apply for NDA exam. Eligibility Criteria for NDA Examination: -10+2 pass in any stream for Indian Army and 10+2 with physics and maths for Indian Air Force and Indian Navy. -Age must be between 16.5 to 19 years and must be unmarried male of India. -Must have the required physics fitness for NDA.  Scheme of NDA Examination: The examination will have an Objective Type Paper , SSB Interview and Medical Examination. Those who are in merit will be considered for selection.  Iam sorry to say this you are not eligible for NDA(National Defence Academy) because only 12th standard completed candidates are eligible for NDA exam. So first concentrate on your studies and complete 12th standard to apply for NDA exam, NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice in every year. NDA has three wings:- Airforce, Army, Navy. Eligibility details:- The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a reborngsed board or university. There is no percentage restrictions to apply this exam. The candidate must be a citizen of india and should be physically fit Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. The age limits are 16.5 years to 19 years. No upper age relaxation. Selection process:- Written exam, SSB interview, Medical test. Dear Friend NDA stands for the National defense Academy.The entrance examination is conducted by the UPSC twice every year.It is a gateway to enter into the three wings of defense that are: Indian Army Indian Navy Indian Air force. First of all,Let me tell you some of the important requirements to be eligible for the NDA/NA examinations 1.You must have passed/appearing for the 10+2 from a board that is recognized.Mathematics and english are compulsory subjects. So, dear being a 10+1 student you are not eligible for the NDA entrance examinations. 2.The age limit is 16.5 to 19 years .There is no relaxation in age for anyone. 3.You must be unmarried male Indian. 4.You must be physically fit. Suggestions: While studying your 10+1 and 10+2 you can prepare for the NDA exams.Kindly try to be updated with the current affairs.At least give two hours for the NDA exam preparation. Try to solve the previous year question papers .For your convenience I have provided you names of books which you can refer for preparation. NDA examination is conducted as NDA-I and NDA-II twice every year by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission). NDA has three wings:- * Indian Army. * Indian Navy. * Indian Air Force. The selection procedure for NDA examination:- * Written examination. * SSB interview. * Medical examination.
