Re: Career scope after completion of B.Sc in Physics? I am a 1st year bsc physics student. I found physics very interesting so I opted for the subject. But now I have realized that my class mates are far ahead of me on the basis of studies, so due to lack of success in fetching good marks, i am losing interest. My exams are approaching, what shall I do? Change my stream? Or continue? Suggest me some ways to cope up. |

It is good that you are completing your bachelor degree course as BSc.Now you have to options , that is :- You can either go for the Job Or You can go for the higher studies. If you wish to do job, than you can go for private job as well as govt. Job. You can apply in various firms/industries/schools on the basis of your degree privately. You can also go for the govt job like bank/ railway/post office/Upsc/ Ssc/Army/Navy/Air force. If you go for the higher studies, than you can go for the courses like MCA/MBA/MSc.Generally It is suggested to the bachelor degree students , to do the master degree in their own stream.If you wish to go for the higher studies than you should go for the MSc course. Because after completion of your Master degree your life will become more flexible than only having a bachelor degree. |

There many career options After B.sc in Physics but if you are interest in Physics/Science stream related career than it would be better if you opt for M.sc in Physics and than do Phd in subject as it often seen than Physics Post graduate and Phd holder are required and earning very well who are employed in Govt or Private research and Development organization such as Indian Space Research Organization, National Remote Sensing Agency, and Space Application Centre and so on. Various Technical jobs are available for Physics graduates/post graduates like- radiation monitoring, electrical power plant operator, scientific instrument operator Sales Person for technical instruments You can also work in Govt and Private Laboratories After PG in Physics you can apply for NET/SET examination and can teach in Govt or Private Colleges.
