Re: Is computer science subject eligible for TET test? I have pursed B.sc. B.ed. in Computer Science.. I know that Im not eligible for writing TET paper 2 without PG. but am I eligible to write TET paper 1..? |

Re: Is computer science subject eligible for TET test? Yes,you are eligible for TET. Now i want to tell you some basic criteria which is defined for TET test. TET is also known as Teacher Eligibility Test. This is an entrance examination for teachers. Basic criteria ** graduation is compulsory. ** B. ed or STc (3 years diploma is also required) **60% marks required to pass this test. So,I hope you got your answer. |

For TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) you must have any of the following qualifications. >Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR >Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR >Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), approved by NCTE If you have done Computer Science Graduation and B.Ed. then you will be definitely eligible for TET. You can become computers teacher in schools. You can apply for state level TET and CTET according to your choice. CTET is conducted by CBSE and it is a national level exam. Kendriya Vidyalaya and Jawahar Navodaya comes under Central Government schools. If you want to get job in state government schools then you have to apply for state level TET. The test is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India. NO NEED TO WORRY AS YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR TET EXAM , AS THE CRITERIA SAYS THAT : > > All graduates including B.A, B.Sc, B.Com etc. are eligible to take the test. > > All B. Ed. graduates need to pass this exam to work as a teacher. > > A candidate has to score over 60 per cent to clear the eligibility test. GOOD LUCK |

Re: Is computer science subject eligible for TET test? hi dear, TET stands for Teacher Eligibility Test. There are 8 categories in TET. From 1 to 5 require, candidate must pass out from senior secondary exam with minimum 50%. From 6 to 8 require,candidate must pss out from graduation with at least 50%. Good Luck |
