B.E. or 2. B.Tech. or 3. M.Sc. in space technology or aeronautical engineering to become a Scientist in NASA and Astronaut. good luck |

Dear friend To become an astronauts you have to get these basic requirements- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in engineering, biological science, physical science, or mathematics. At least 1,000 hours pilot-in-command time in jet aircraft. Flight test experience is highly desirable. Ability to pass a NASA space physical which is similar to a military or civilian flight physical and includes the following specific standards - Distant visual acuity- 20/100 or better uncorrected, correctable to 20/20 each eye. Blood pressure- 140/90 measured in a sitting position. Height between 62 and 75 inches. so you just clarify the requirement and plan accordingly all the best |

Re: What should I do to become Astraunat after completing B.Sc Computer Science? if you who wish to become an Astronaut u need to have a Bachelor’s degree in biological science, engineering, mathematics or physical science from a recognized university then you need to obtain any one of the following degrees from renowned institutes like IISC or IIT. PhD (Astrophysics),PhD (Geophysics),PhD (Metaphysics). After graduation, u can appear for the entrance exam which is held by the NASA for the recruitment of Scientists, Astronauts etc. Candidates can also find employment in ISRO. eligibility criteria: Citizenship: candidates who are joining the ISRO need to be Indian citizens Age limit: the candidate should be atleast 21 years at the time of joining. The age limit is relaxable for candidates belonging to the SC/ST category Qualification: candidates need to be Graduates from a recognized board or university. You need to pass the screening test first then submit the application form online. Next you need to undergo tests in professional and psychological aptitude assessment which includes behavioral and logical skills. After that they will go through a Medical evaluation. The final stage is an interview where the candidate will be judged before he/she is selected. You should remember that only 2 or 3 people out of scores of candidates will be chosen at the end.
