To become IPS officer you need Minimum qualification is Graduation from a recognized university.
So you are eligible after completing your graduation degree.....


Age Limit for IPS:
General - 21 to 30 yrs
OBC - 21 to 33 yrs
SC/ST - 21 to 35 yrs
Defence Personnal - 21 to 33 yrs
Ex serviceman - 21 to 35 yrs

WHO CAN APPLY FOR THE IAS EXAMINATION-

>> The candidates should be an Indian.

>> The candidates who have completed graduation in any decipline can apply.

>> The degree completed must be completed from recognised university or colleges.

>> The age of the candidates should be between 21-30 years. The relaxation in upper age limit is available for the candidatyes belonging to reserved category

Dear Friend ,

The Examination for the post of IPS is taken by Civil Services Examination which is conducted every year by the Union public Service Commission.

As you have completed your BCA successfully , you are absolutely eligible to appear in the exam because the educational qualification you require in order to give the exam is you must have a bachelors degree in any stream from any recognized college / university.

The other most important thing that you need is your age must be in between 21-30 years.

If you fulfill the above mentioned , then you need not to worry about any thing and can appear in the exam.

This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. hope the information will help you to the extent you want.

If someone is belongs to ST and all the Eligibilities are good for IPS except the height where, his height is 161.54cm.So, can he get consideration on his height.

why not! you are definetely eligible for appearing in this examination,conducted by UPSC every year. you have completed your graduation from a recognized university. for appearing in this exam you must be a indian nationality , the age exist for this exam is 21-30 years for a general candidates. there are 5 & 3 years relaxation for SC\ST and OBC candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for IPS:

Educational qualification:
You should have completed your graduation in any discipline from any recognized university.

Age limit:
Should have crossed 21 years. But should not have crossed 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs .

Physical Standard:
Height – Male 165 cm

Eye sight – 6/6 or 6/9

Blood pressure (High) – Age 23 – 123,
age 24 – 124,
age 25 –122,
age 28 – 124,
age 30 –125,
age 32 – 126,
age 34 – 127.

Others:
Good listening & normal ear cavity. Candidate should not stammer while speaking.

Dear ,

Yes , you are absolutely eligible for IPS exam.

The minimum educational qualification required is to be a graduate in any field.

Age limitation is between 21-30 years for the general , 21-33 years for the OBC and 21-35 years for the OBC.

General categories get 4 , SC/St get unlimited , OBC get 7 attempts to clear the exam.

You need to first clear the CSAT before appearing for the mains.

the eligibility for the IPS exam is a minimum of the graduation from any of the recognized college or the university

and the age limit is 21 years to 31 years for the general students

ans as you have done the BCA degree from the Assam you are absolutely eligible for the IPS exam conducted by the UPSC

Yeah you are eligible for the IPS exam as you satisfy the eligibility criteria,the other criteria's are mentioned below:

Eligibility:

The candidate must be a citizen of India.
The candidate must have a a age limit of 21-30 years.
For SC/ST - 35 years.
For OBC - 33 years.
For Ex-service men it is 5 years from the prescribed limits.
The candidate must have a degree from a recognized university.

Attempts:

For OPEN-4, OBC-7,SC/ST-NO LIMIT

Yes if you complete your bechlor degree you be a part of that exam ..

After your degree allpy for that exam..

yes you are eligible. any graduate candidate from any stream are eligible for IPS(Civil service) examination. also from assam are eligible. go to the website http://www.upsc.gov.in for eligibility criterion for civil service examination.

if you are from noth east or anywhere in sovereign india

you can take ias exam,

in fact candidates from NE and kashmir have some

additional age relaxations as well..

you can prepare in delhi, it is the best place for IAS preparation

Absolutely you are Eligible for Civil Service Exam.

To become a IPS Officer,you need to crack the Civil Service Exam.

Minimum Qualification Is Graduation.

And the Age should between 21 - 30 yrs as on August 1st of the year of the Examination.

Civil Service Examination Consist of three Stage :
  • Preliminary
  • Main
  • Interview

First you need to Appear for Preliminary Examination.

Preliminary Examination consist of two paper.Both the papers are Objective type and Each paper consist of 200 marks.
