Re: Admission in B.Tech in PEC Chd? hello, The admission process for the various BE courses at PEC University of Technology will start in the month of June immediately after the declaration of AIEEE – 2012 result. The admissions will be based on the merit of AIEEE – 2012 but the candidates desirous of taking admission in PEC will have to register separately on the websitechdenggadmissions.nic.in. This website will become active in the first week of June, 2012 for online registration. Starting from the session 2012-13, seat allotments will be done through an online process of counseling consisting of three rounds. After this, there will be one last (fourth) round of physical counseling in the month of August, 2012. The complete details of seats availability, reservation criteria and the counseling procedure will be available on the institute website : pec.ac.in as well as on chdenggadmissions.nic.in in the first week of June, 2012. For details of the admission process last year and the cut-offs in various branches, the prospective candidates may follow the links given below. The BE admissions to PEC are conducted jointly with five other technical institutes of the region by a Joint Admission Committee (JAC) notified by the Chandigarh Administration. The participating institutes under JAC – 2012 are: PEC University of Technology (formerly Punjab Engineering College), Chandigarh. University Institute of Engineering & Technology, Panjab University, Chandigarh. University Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Re: Admission in B.Tech in PEC Chd? The admission to B.E. courses at PEC, Chandigarh is done through PEC separate counseling based of AIEEE marks/ranks of candidates. The application process for attending counseling of PEC, will be in progress after the results of AIEEE is published.
