Combined Engineering Services Mechanical Engineering Exam - Download Previous Years Question Papers The Recruitment Department of the Indian Engineering Services holds an entrance test for recruiting eligible candidates. The exam is held in two stages namely Stage I and Stage II. Stage I is divided into Section I and Section II. Stage I has a total marks of 1000.The total duration of Stage I is two hours for each of the three papers belonging to Section I and three hours for each of the papers belonging to Section II. Stage Ii is a personality test round and carries a total of 200 marks. Candidates are only called for Stage II if they pass in the Stage I. Below you will find some previous years question papers.
