Re: How can I prepare for Civil Services after doing BCA?

Civil Services Exam is one of the top most and toughest competitive exam in India.

The complete selection procedure to get into various civil services is by

CSAT Exam Civil Services Aptitude Test
Civil Services Main Exam
Interview

One should have strong preparation to crack civil services exam.

So, I suggest you to start your preparation from a coaching institute.

This will fetch you more scope to crack the written exam.

First, choose the optional subjects for civil services main exam as per your interest.

Rather than preparing for the important questions, I suggest you to try to understand the concepts.

Allocate some hours of time in your day to prepare for this exam.

Take suggestions from the experts who have already cracked the exam.

Practice previous papers and update information on current affairs.

All the best.

Those who pass prelims of civil services are only selected for mains exam. Preparation for prelims exam can be made in subjects like reasoning, QA, general awareness, History, Geography, and so on. Reference books and competitive guides can be used for study. Practicing previous year question papers will be useful. You can approach coaching centers, if necessary.
