I am doing a spoken english course for good command over english. please tell me am i eligible to join gme from samudra institute. If english is problem, is there any other solution to overcome it? |

Generally the foreign shipping companies pay more than the Indian ones. Even skills, experience and education of the candidate determines the salary. Foreign companies pay higher and a starting salary of $ 1,500 to $ 2,500 a month can be expected whereas Indian companies pay anything between Rs.25000 to Rs.50000. There are other perks and benefits such as free food, accommodation, paid leave, two-way free passage,bonus, holiday travel and other annual benefits. Regards |

Hello Friend, The salary of Marine Engineers depends upon job title, skills, experience and education of the candidate, so it varies between Rs.25000 to Rs. 50000 per month initially. Also there are many perks in addition with the salary one earns. Salary grows with work experience, a Chief Engineer earn a hefty salary of Rs. 200000 to Rs.600000 every month.
