Re: Which is the best course for ECE engineering? I am an ECE student I am studying ece and i have reached the final semester of engineering with no great idea of what i am learning. I have a low aggregate of 55% which is making it impossible for me to attend placements thrown to me by my college. My aggregate doesn't describe my intelligence. I have a high grasping capacity and i can adapt to anything thrown at me. I want to know how to give my life a new start from the situation i am in now. Really very desperate to get your reply and in need of some advice. I |

Following are the best and important courses for an ECE student: --- DIGITAL SYSTEM --- COMMUNICATION SYSTEM --- ANALOG SYSTEM --- ELECTRONIC DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING --- MICROWAVE SYSTEM --- EMBEDDED SYSTEM --- TV AND RADAR These are the topics or subjects through which basic question are asked in any core companies interview.. So try your best to clear the basic concepts in these subjects to get a start a career in core companies.. All the Best.. |

You have not mentioned your purpose to know the best course for ECE. All courses have their own merits and demerits and you should choose your field based on your interest. If you intend to know for the purpose of summer training then you can chooseany of these: 1. Instrumentation related (power sector) 2. VLSI / Embedded System (Electronics core company) 3. The course which you have choosen is very helpful for you in the future because it is an evergreen subject where you can either go into the software as well as hardware fields. Today's modern technology that is all types of electronic gadgets we use are mostly from the electronics course. I feel that the subject which you have choosen is best. Coming deep into the subject, the most important and best courses are as follows: 1). Network Analysis 2). Electronic Devices and Circuits 3). Analog and Digital Communication Systems 4). Electro Magnetic and Instrumentation 5). Antenna Wave Propagation 6). Very Large Scale Integrated Systems 7). Microwave Engineering 8). Embedded Systems 9). Telecommunication Switching Systems 10). MATLAB- Digital Image Processing Hence, these are the courses which you need to concentrate upon and these are mainly the core subjects where it is useful to you in lifetime.
