Re: What is the percentage required in MAT exam? hi all, i have completed MBA ( HR) two years back by clearing TANCET, now i would like to do PhD in HR management in IITs/ IIMs. so please tell me what is the eligibility criteria and the national level exam need to be cleared? |

MAT exam is conduct for admission in India' best Colleges for MBA Degree. After selecting in MAT examination you will get admission in Good college for MBA degree. MBA is most recommended Post graduation degree course. Every year many Students purse MBA as PG Degree and many of them Get High salary Jobs. Now days MBA degree is recognized as Job Opportunities Degree. MAT Exam is Consider as Toughest Management Entrance Examination. There are many Examination conduct for MBA entrance Other than MAT Like; CAT, XAT, GMAT, SNAP etc. Required Criteria for MAT : you must complete your graduation degree from recognized University with 50%. If you are in final year of Graduation degree then you are eligibel for this exam. there is no age limit for this Examination. Examination Pattern: Duration of MAT Exam is 2 hrs. Unlike CAT, MAT exam can be given for four times a year. So the opportunity to better yourself with another exam if the first one didn't go well is high. This exam is conducted usually in the months of February, May, September and December. Here is the schedule of this year:- May Exam Date: 5 May 2013 September Exam Date: 1 September 2013 December Exam Date: 1 December 2013 This exam can be given by anyone who has got a bachelor's degree in any discipline of his choice. It just needs to be acquired from a recognized university. Since the minimum percentage to attain has not been mentioned therefore the pass marks would do. Final year students are also eligible to give this exam. Age Criteria is not a factor here. So you have the freedom to give the exam at whatever age you want to. Since the number of attempts is not limited so you can also give this exam as many time you want to. There is both paper based test and computer based test. You can choose whichever you want to. MAT stands for Management Aptitude Test conducted by AIMA(All Indian Management Association) for admission to two years MBA(Master of Business Administration) course in reputed Institutions under MAT Score. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Graduation in any stream from a recognised University, is eligible to apply for MAT. There is no upper age restriction for application to MAT. |

All graduates all eligible to apply for MAT. There is no percentage restriction as such. However some participating institution can put such restriction but it doesn't go true with all institutions.
