Re: Suggestions required for admission in IIT for M.Tech? i have got AIR rank in gate 3002 and my score is 542 in cs branch so suggest me institute where i take a admission for m.tech and one more thing i am belonging to general category so please help me............?? |

Re: Suggestions required for admission in IIT for M.Tech? Dear friend As you have mentioned that you want to pursue your master's degree in technology from the Indian Institute of technology. For this you have to crack the GATE exams with better ranks as there are very few seats in the IITs for the M.tech programs. GATE is the Graduate Aptitude test in engineering.if you have done your bachelor's degree in technology/engineering or you are in final year of it then you are eligible for the examinations. There is no limitations on no of attempts that is you can give as many as time till you become successful. It is a tough exam you need to have good concept and knowledge regarding your each and every subjects of your bachelor's degree in engineering, then only you will be able to crack GATE exams. Re: Suggestions required for admission in IIT for M.Tech? GATE examination is your entry gate into IITs...Fill the application form for GATE when you are in final year and start preparing your subjects in order to get good marks in the test so that you can get admission call from IITs... |

Re: Suggestions required for admission in IIT for M.Tech? hello friend, If you want to pursue m.tech from iits then first of all you have to clear an exam called GATE.You are required to qualify this exam with at least 95- 98 percentile if you are hoping for a seat in IITs,then IITs will declare a cut off list and for selected candidates there will be an interview,some IITs also take a written test and then depending on your GATE score,Your written test there and interview you will get admission in IITs mtech program. best of luck |
