Every year UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) is going to conduct NDA Exam to recruit the candidates into following defence services Army wing Navy wing Air Force wing The complete selection procedure would involve NDA Exam Interview Medical Test Here is eligibility for this Exam. The candidate should have completed 12th class with any of the stream to apply for Army wing. The candidate should have completed 12th class with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects in order to be eligible for Navy and Air Force wings. Candidates who are pursuing final year of 12th class can also apply for this Exam but they should be able to show the proof of passing in 12th class by the time you appear for Interview. It is mandatory that the candidate should be unmarried male candidates. Female candidates and candidates who got married are not eligible to appear for this Exam. If you are a girl, I am sorry you can not apply for this Exam. Try to complete your Graduation. Then you can make entry into defence services through Officers Training Academy. NDA(National Defence Academy) is conducted two times every year i.e.NDA-I and NDA-II.This exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission). Educational Qualifications: Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university Air Force and Naval Wing of National Defence Academy and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination AGE LIMIT: 16 ˝ to 19 yrs as of first day of the month in which course is due to commence. Sex:- Male. Nationality:- Indian. Marital status:- Unmarried or single. Physically and mentally fit. Only unmarried male candidate are applicable. SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR NDA EXAM:- 1) Written test which is conducted by UPSC. 2)Personal Interview. I am really very sorry but only unmarried males are allowed to appear for the NDA(National Defense Academy) exam.. After the completion of your graduation..you shall be eligible for appearing in the CDS (Combined Defense Services) Exam.. Eligibility Criteria for CDS :- 1) You should be a graduate (in science stream if you want to join Indian Navy or Air Force) 2) You should be within the age limit of 19-23 years Apart from these..you should have perfect eyesight and good physical health.. The written exam shall be a 300 marks paper which shall be divided equally into 3 sections which will test you on your General Knowledge English Basic Maths all the best..  With Warm Regards "Nitz" |

NDA Stands for National Defence Academy Entrance Exam and the examination was Conducted by UPSC Comission Twice in a year. But Only Unmarried males candidates are eligible for NDA Examination. Girls are Not eligible to Apply for NDA Examination, If you are interested to enter into defense, then please complete your Graduate degree course and then apply for CDS Examination. If you have completed your Graduation in Engineering, then you are also eligible for Direct Entry scheme. After Graduation you are eligible for Officers Training Academy (Non-Technical) And Women special entry scheme (Officers) Specialist. For OTA, You have to complete your Graduation in any discipline form a recognised university and your age should between 19 to 25 years. For Women special entry scheme (Officers) Specialist, Your age should between 21 to 27 years and you must have completed your Graduation form a recognised University. For Direct entry scheme, you have to complete your Engineering degree course and then you can join the Technical Branch through the Direct Entry Scheme, So you can enter into defense by these Modes, so please complete your graduation and then apply for these examination. So, You are Not eligible for NDA Examination because Girls are Not eligible to apply for NDA Examination and for more Information check official UPSC Website - http://upsc.gov.in |
