There are limited job opportunities for a biotechnologist You can apply for JRF SRF openings at various institutes You can fight NET JRF exam for which you will get scholar ship for doing a PhD Lecturership Clinical research Sales and Marketing in pharma companies Quality assurance and analysis jobs Most of the research based positions such as scientist in India requires a PhD /Post Doc due to high competition and lack of good courses in colleges in India,so its better that you go for a PhD after your M.Tech you can also apply for PhD posts outside India . That will help you in getting good job in future . |

After M Tech Biotechnology, u can opt u r career in Pharmaceutical Industry or in Clinical & Medical research side. and ther r plenty of jobs 4 u...like Scientist postings in Public and Private Research Laboratories. Research Postings in Defence institutions . Public Sector Enterprises Jobs. Lecturers/School Teachers in Educational Institutions. Union Public service & State Public Service postings. All India Civil Services postings. Agro-industrial Jobs. In Pharmaceiutcal Industry &Clinical & Medical research , u have the designations like Research Associates, Scientists & Group Leaders. Drug Executive etc. As per the latest trends in globalization , u can get a job in BPO`s also as there r many customer care centers and online support centers started 4 Bio-Technology field also. |
