The acronym for CMJ is C. Motilal Jawaharlal. Yes, CMJ University is approved by UGC(University Grants Commission). But, this university is not approved by AICTE(All India Council for Technical Education). CMJ University or CMJU is a private university located in Shillong, Meghalaya and established through a State act called as "CMJ University Act, 2009" in the State of Meghalaya, India.
