HOW TO APPLY:-

You can either apply in offline or online.
For online , visit :- http://www.upsconline.nic.in

For applying offline,
Candidates have to purchase application form from designated post offices by the cost of 20/-

IMPORTANT ENGINEERING SERVICE EXAM DATES, 2012:-
Date of notification:-10.03.2012
Last date for form submission:-09.04.2012
Date of exam:-15.06.2012

My date of birth s 20.07.1991. I'm eligible for IES exam 2012 as per the eligibility critria mentioned as we should have completed 21 yrs of age as on august 1st on the yr of conduct of examination. But when i completed registration I, I got a information tat "your date of birth doesnt match with criteria of axamination.. Y is it so??

The application can be sent either through online or offline.

If you need to fill the form online then you can go through the given link

http://www.upsconline.nic.in

The application can either be filled offline.The applications will be available at the head/central post office of your city on cash payment of Rs 20.
Its recommended that you buy the UPSC applications only at head post office.After filling in the application form it must be posted to the following address:-

Controller of Examination,
UPSC board,
Dholpur House,
Shahjahan Road.
New Delhi-11006

I.E.S is Indian Engineering Service
I.E.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year..

For I.E.S exam you have to pass the engineering in following stream:-
1.Civil Engineering
2.Electrical Engineering
3.Mechanical engineering.
4.Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Age limit for I.E.S exam is 21-30 year..

IMPORTANT DATE FOR I.E.S./I.S.S. EXAM., 2012
DATE OF NOTIFICATION:- 18.08.2012
LAST OF RECITE OF FORM:- 17.09.2012(MONDAY)
DATE OF EXAM:- 01.12.2012 (SATURDAY)

You have to fill the application form and send on the following address:-

Controller of Examinations,
Union Public Service Commission,
Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road,
New Delhi-110069

Hello...It good that you are appearing for IES exam.Its a highly prestigious exam and is having lots of future scope.It is an exam conducted by UPSC board.The following are the important dates for this exam.
The date of notification is on 30.07.2011

Well you can make the D.D in favor of "Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi - 110069" either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by Courier.

Well friend,

Good question,
There is no necessity of sending again Upsc form or application form to upsc address if you have already filled online.

What you do, if they have specified any documents or confirmation page to send, then you must send as soon as possible.

If you still persists with any doubts, post again.

actually you can apply in the both ways,online and by post,
for online application log on to www.upsconline.nic.in
for the postal application you have to buy the application form from the post office ,
you can get all the information from www.upsc.gov.in

Applying online is enough, you are not required to send the application form if applying online.
