If you want to become an IAS officer for that you have to apply for civil services exam conducted by UNION PUBLIC SERVICES COMMISSION (UPSC). Civil Services Exam Will be held in Three Round . 1. Re: How can I apply for IAS exam? Procedure and pattern of the exam? How can I start my studies? Hello friend, IAS(Indian Administrative Service). UPSC conducts the IAS exam once in a year. Eligibility criteria: The candidate should be complete graduation or equivalent degree from a aggregated university and in these percentage is not required. The applicant who is persuing his/her Final year also eligible. The applicant should be a citizen of india. Age criteria: The age limits is 21 years to 30 years, 3 years upper age relaxation for the OBC candidates, 5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates. Selection procedure: Civil services preliminary examination, Civil services mains exam, Personal interview. Pattern of exam: General english, General awareness, Quantitative aptitude, Logical reasoning, Computer knowledge No.of attempts; 4 times for general candidates, 7times for OBC candidates, No limits for SC/ST candidates.
