So you must ensure that you are fully fit according to the notification of the exam. Height and Weight for NDA Exam:  In addition to above you also must have the 10+2 pass certificate from a recognised Board of education. Age should be between 16.5 to 19 years and you must be an unmarried male citizen of India. Exam Pattern:  So you must start your preparation in full flow if you are willing to join Indian Defense. Physical test requirements for NDA Examination :- Minimum Height requierd :- General / OBC Candidates : 165 cm SC/ST Candidates : 162.5 cm Chest :- General / OBC Candidates : 77 cm ( unexpanded ) & 82 cm ( expanded ) SC/ST Candidates : 82 cm ( unexpanded )& 81 cm ( expanded ) Best of luck................. |

This exam is conducted by UPSC twice in year called NDA-I and NDA-II...... Age should be Between 16 1/2 to 19 years...... Only Unmarried Male are Eligible..... candidate must have Nationality of INDIA. NDA Stands for National Defense Academy. To join the National Defense Academy , the Union Public Service Commission conducts the NDA Examination twice every year for those candidates who are interested in joining the Indian Defense. The Examination is conducted in April and August respectively. NDA-I Exam is conducted in april whereas NDA-II is conduced in august. As one thing i want to tell you that this exam is conducted only for boys so there is no provision of height for girls as they are not allowed to appear in this exam. The Minimum height required for NDA Exam is : The Other Qualifications that need to be fulfilled are : a) Educational Qualifications : * You must have completed 12 th with PCM from any recognized board. * If you have not completed 12th with PCM , then you can only apply for Indian Army. * There is no minimum percentage of marks required for NDA Exam. b) Age Limit : * Your age must lie in between 16.5-19 years. * No relaxation is given in upper age to candidates belonging to any category. c) Nationality : Indian d) Sexual Status : Male e) Marital Status : Unmarried f) Girls are not allowed to apply for the NDA Exam. g) Physical Standards :  This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. ( 162.5 cms for Air Force ) For Gorkhas and individuals belonging to hills of North Eastern regions of India, Garhwal and Kumaon, the minimum acceptable heights will be 5 cms. less. In case of candidates from Lakshadweep the minimum acceptable height can be reduced by 2 cms |

This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission two times in a year. NDA has three wings: Indian Army Indian Air force Navy Eligibility: You should Indian. You should complete 12th standard. Re: What is the minimum height required for physical test of NDA(for boys) NDA stands for National Defence Academy examination and this examination is conducted by UPSC, two times in a year, for this year Both NDA Examination was already completed and if you have not appeared for this examination, then you have missed the chance. But soon next year NDA(I) Examination notification is going to be published in the official website. The notification is going to be published soon in the month of December, after the notification online registrations will be started, eligible candidates may fill the application form online from the official website, the application form available in 2 parts. You have to fill both the parts completely. Only unmarried male candidates between the age of 16.5 to 19 years are eligible for NDA Examination. You have to complete your Intermediate examination to apply for NDA Examination, this examination is conducted for the recruitment of these 3 wings of NDA namely, => Army wings => Naval wings => Air force wings If you have study PCM subjects in your intermediate examination, then you are eligible for all the wings of NDA. For next year NDA(I) Examination, Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1995 and not later than 1st July, 1997 are eligible. If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board with science department you are applicable for NDA exam.Commerce student are applicable for only Indian Army branch. But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years. Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.You must have citizenship of India.
