To go for S.I police you must write the I.P.S examination I.P.S. -- INDIAN POLICE SERVICES The minimum qualification must be GRADUATION And the minimum age must be 21 years Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years Of course there will be an Age relaxation for the reserved candidates Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for And you must be an Indian Citizen ALL THE GOOD LUCK |

Police Recruitment Board of each state conducts the entrance examination for recruitment of Sub-Inspector in the respective state police. Since the examination is conducted on state level, eligibility criteria like Age limit, Height etc varies from State to State but as per the guidelines of most of Police Recruitment Boards, 20 years is considered to be minimum eligible age whereas, 25-27 years is considered to be the maximum age limit for the position of Sub-Inspector. Candidate belonging to reserved category do get some sort of relaxation in the upper age limit. As far as academic qualification is concerned, in order to apply for the position of Sub-Inspector, candidate must hold a bachelors degree awarded by a recognized university and is applicable in every state. For further information, refer to the official website of the Police Recruitment Board of your State. |
