The abbreviation of NET is National Eligibility Test. It is pitiable for you that you can't apply for NET exam before finishing of your master degree. So, firstly you finish your master degree, then after you apply for NET exam. The educational qualifications regarding with NET exam are below mentioned:- * Opponents must be finished master degree in any curriculum from any approved institution. * Opponents must have 55% marks in master degree. * SC/ST category opponents must have 50% marks in master degree. * Opponents must be an Indian. * The age of opponents must be lie in between 20-27 years for the post of Junior Research Fellowship. * The age criteria is not required for Lectureship. Re: Can I apply for NET exam while pursuing M.Phil in education Dear Friend, Sorry to say but at present you cannot apply for the NET Exam as you do not have completed the Masters Degree from any recognized university. The Full Form Of NET is National Eligibility Test. This test is conducted twice every year by the University Grants Commission. The Test is conducted in the months of June and December for the following posts : a) Junior Research Fellowship b) Lecture Ship The Qualifications Required for National Eligibility Test are : * you must have completed post graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks from any recognized university. * Relaxation of 5% marks is given to candidates of Reserved Categories. * Candidates who are in final year of post graduation are also eligible. * You must be an Indian Citizen. The Age Limit for National Eligibility Test is : a) For JRF : * Your age should lie in between 21-28 years. * Relaxation of 3 years in upper age is given to candidates belonging to OBC Category. * Relaxation of 5 years in upper age is given to candidates belonging to SC/ST Category. b) For Lecture Ship : There is no age limit for the post of lecture ship. NET stands for National Eligibility Test. NET exam every year held two times in the month june and december and it is conducted by the University Grants Commission. Eligibility criteria and details:- You must be complete Master's graduation with atleast 55% of marks from any recognised university. But for SC/ST category candidates there is a relaxation of 5% of marks in Master's graduation. You must be a citizen of India. Final year persuing candidates are also eligible. Age criteria and relaxation details:- JRF(Junior Research Fellowship): The maximum age limits for JRF is 28 years. No minimum age limit. 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates, 10 years for PWD candidates.
