Re: How to prepare for IPS exam?

The Indian Police Service (IPS) is one of the three All India Services of the Government of India; other two services being the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and the Indian Foreign Service (IFS).
Is all done though the same “UPSC held Civil Services” examination! This guide is written from the point of view of becoming an IAS officer. However, the procedure to become an IPS etc. officer is also the same!

Re: How to prepare for IPS exam?

First approach is to prepare mains paper
second go for g.s (general studies)and two optionals, prepare previos exams test, then interview test.
Many people leave the g.s because of their attitude but one should go for full preparation regarding this ,ifsomeone wants to become ias.
And prepration should start at least one year in advance
