Re: How to join Indian Air force after passing 10th with 58%? You need to complete class 12 for Indian Air Force. You can be a part of any of the three branches of the Airforce after completing your graduation, Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground Duties Branch. Air Force Common Admission Test or AFCAT is by far the biggest exam conducted for entry into the IAF. Candidates after appearing for the written test has to undergo (AFSB)SSB . The written test is same for all the candidates irrespective of the Branch Applied i.e. Flying, Technical or Ground Duties. Age should be between 19-23 Years and aspiring candidates has to be Graduates (Three Year Course) in any discipline and have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level OR BE / B Tech (Four Year Course) and should scored Minimum 60% in all papers put together. |

Re: How to join Indian Air force after passing 10th with 58%? Irrespective of your percentage of marks in your 10th class, you are not eligible to make entry into Air Force. The reason being one should have completed 12th class as the minimum academic qualification in order to join Air Force. Here is the complete selection procedure that you should crack to join Air Force. NDA Exam Interview Medical Test NDA Exam will be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year. This is the common entrance exam to join various defence services like Army wing Navy wing Air Force wing To apply for Air Force wing, You should have completed 12th class from any recognized college and you must be having the subjects of Mathematics and Physics in your 12th class. You should possess an age between 16.5 years to 19 years. You should be a citizen of India and you should not be an unmarried male candidate. If you are a girl or married, I am sorry you can not take this Exam. So, I suggest you to opt for 12th class in a stream where you have Mathematics and Physics subjects and complete it successfully. Carry out your preparation for NDA Exam along with your academics. Give equal importance to both the areas. Apply for the NDA Exam once you complete your 12th class and crack it. You should write National Defence Academy(NDA) exam Only Unmarried men can write thi NDA exam. So first, finish your 12th and write NDA exam. All the best. |

Indian Airforce is one of the best in world. You can not apply for Airforce as you have only passed 10th class. You have to wait for some time to get eligible. Then you can apply for : NDA Age limit required is 16.5 to 19 years and not more. Candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1994 and not later than 1st January, 1997 are eligible Qualification is 12th passed/appearing Indian nationals are only allowed The candidate should be unmarried. After comletion of your 10th only you cannot eligible for Indian air force, for,IAF minium qualification is 10+2, so you first apply for 10+2 And ,After the completion of your 10+2,then you can apply for NDA(National Defence Academy) exam which is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year Eligibility criteria for NDA : You must be an INDIAN The candidate must complete 10+2 from a recognised state board. And, the Age limits is 16.5 to 19years. You must be physically fit. And the most important thing is only unmarried male candidates are eligible. You should have passed at least 12th class with more than 50% marks. After the 12th class you can apply for the NDA exam which is conducted by the upsc every year twice in a year. To apply for the NDA exam your age should be in between 16.5 year to 19 years. Selection procedure for NDA: There will be three phases for NDA selections- • Written test • SSB Interview • Medical test |

You have got very good marks in 10th board exam,..Nevertheless you can apply for Indian Air force through NDA (NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY) ,but after 12th.. there is no exam which is conducted for students to join the Indian Air Force after 10th.. first you have to complete your 12 th standard after then you are eligible to Indian air force. NDA(National Defence Academy) exam is conducted by the UPSC (UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION) twice in a year i.e NDA-I & NDA-II. Through this Examination , one can apply in INDIAN AIR FORCE (IAF) ,NAVAL ACADEMY (NA) & INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY(IMA). Educational requirement---- 12th degree from a recognized board, As you want to apply in IAF , you must have to gain at least 60% in 12th (aggregate), physics & maths. How To Join Indian Air Force After 10th First of all let me tell you that there is no exam which is conducted for students to join the Indian Air Force after 10th.. You need to be at least a 12th pass out in order to appear for the National Defence Academy which is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year in the months of April and August.. You should also be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years for appearing for the NDA exam.. There is no percentage restriction for appearing in the NDA Exam.. The exam shall have 2 rounds :- The first round will test you based on your general knowledge and current affairs.. The second round shall test you on the basis of your basic knowledge of Science,Maths and English.. There are also some physical requirements which you must fulfill in order to clear the medical examination.. I have attached the required physical parameters along with some previous year papers for your reference in the attachments..
