In my opinion Electronics and Communications in the best stream of Engineering. It provides ample job opportunities in various fields. Some of the fields are considered as evergreen fields therefore Electronics and Communications is what I will recommend to you. IT One of the largest growing sector of India is Information Technology (IT). The MNCs are always looking to hire Electronics and Communication Engineers. Infosys is known to hire maximum number of ECE graduates. Some companies in the field where you can apply after this course are: Infosys Microsoft Wipro HCL IBM Satyam Tech Mahindra TCS HP DELL Telecom India has one of the largest telecom sector in the world with more than 600 million users. Electronics and communication engineering is regarded as a core engineering stream(like mechanical, civil and electrical engineering). Being a core engineering it has a very wide area of scope with plenty of applications worldwide. The reason being the craze of electronic gadgets nowadays. Everyday newer and better gadgets are released into the market and the competition between top companies is becoming tighter and tougher everyday. They are forced to deliver products which have the latest and best technology and are affordable at the same time. Because of which these companies are looking for new electronics engineers every year. The computers and the electronics have the great scope for the jobs.As the market is totally relied on the computers so the companies looks for skilled computer engineers and electronics engineers. Banglore and gurgaon are the IT hubs for computer engineers where you can easilly get a job as per your needs. Where as electrical have only the option for govt jobs,civil have the same.Mechanical is very tardy stream and needs so much efforts to be in the market where as the money is not good. So better go with Computers or Electronics |

The branches which constitute the core branches are electrical, civil, mechanical and electronics. Graduates of these branches will not have a problem in finding a career option and they are eligible to apply for any post unlike the specialized branches. The computer science and IT branches of engineering has uneven demand factor. Other branches like Bio-Tech and Bio-Medical also fall in the uncertain category. |
