The Bank Clerk is conducted by many banks and SBI is also conducting it for candidate to join in bank for the post of Bank Clerk.

There are certain framed criteria's which you are needed to be satisfied in order for applying for the exam and they are:

# Nationality

# Age limit

# Education Qualification

>> The candidate appearing for the exam must be a Citizen of India

>> The age limit needed for the exam is that the candidate must have 18-28 years of age.

>> There are certain upper age relaxtion for other category candidate

>> The Education qualification for the exam is that the candidate must have completed +2 from a recognized school board of education with at least 60% aggregate.

SBI is the State Bank of India and in addition to the Institute of Banking and personnel which conducts common written exam for 20 nationalised banks selection ,SBI conducts its own separate examination for recruitment of clerk and probationary officer at national level.

As per your query ,the various eligibility criteria for the SBI clerk entrance examinations:

1.Academic qualifications;

>>You should have done 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 60% marks in it .If you are appearing for the 10+2 exams then also you can apply for the exams.

But you should satisfy the age limitations also which is discussed as below:

>>The general age limit for the clerk exam is 18-28 years and the relaxation of three years top the obc and five years to the SC/ST respectively.

>>You must be an Indian citizen.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National. The candidate should have either completed 12th with 50% marks in any stream from a recognised Board or having completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 18 to 28 years with upper age relaxation for OBC candidate up to 3 years and for SC/ST candidate up to 5 years. SBI conduct the bank exam every year for different post.

To apply for sbi clerk post candidate must be pass 12th with 60% of marks for general candidates. 55% of marks in 12th for SC/ST Candidates or Any degree with pass marks from any recognized university.

Those candidates who have diploma they are also eligible for this exam.

Age of candidate should be at least 18 years for general candidates. Maximum age limit is 28 years.

## Selection Procedure:-

The selection procedure mainly consists of two barriers which you need to cross to finally get selected. These two stages are written examination and personal interview session. In the written exam you need to get certain pass percentage to make it to the next round of selection. For the SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates there is 5% relaxation.

## Exam Pattern:-

As far as the question paper is concerned it will mainly consists of five sections of 40 marks each. So the total marks allotted for this exam is 200. Same number of questions will be asked too in the whole exam. You will get only two hours and fifteen minutes to complete the whole paper.

Each right answer will carry one mark and there is negative marking too. So for every wrong answer 0.25 marks will get deducted from your score. Papers for the exam will be set in both English and Hindi.

Following areas needs special attention when preparing for the SBI Clerk Exam:-
  1. General Awareness
  2. General English
  3. Quantitative Aptitude
  4. Reasoning Ability
  5. Marketing Aptitude/ Computer Knowledge
