Re: Best career option after BSc for a poor student? dear friend, As you are saying that you are belonging from a poor family then you can go for job first.. After completion of B.Sc course you can go for jobs like- 1.Bank PO exam 2.Defense exams 3.UPSC conducted civil service exams etc,... as money is the burden for you to do higher studies then you go for correspondence course beside your job to get better designation.. Re: Best career option after BSc for a poor student? Dear To be poor is not a thing that should decide your future!! Firstly decide what do you want to do? Whether you have got the temperament to prepare for tough government job competition or not? or you just like the rich brats want the easy MBA type job? Lets look for the Job oppurtunities for you:- 1. Armed Forces- You can go for a CDSE Exam for the good career in Armed forces, The exam is conducted by UPSC and one can have a ample chance to crack it even after a good monthly study. The applicants are around 60,000 and those called for interview ranges from 9000 to 10000. So its not a hard job. I have seen many guys who were even poor at studies cracking this exam comfortably. Rest SSB is all your luck. 2. You Can go for the SSC Combined Graduate level Exam. Very attractive government sector jobs are offered on the basis of this test. A bit tough than the CDSE Exam, require a bit rigour studies but unlike SSB interview, in this Exam success is in your hands. 3. Bank/Insurance Clerical Exam- its a bit different exam, but due to large numbers of vacancies, its slight easy to crack this exam, but still it require efforts. I have seen many people cracking CDSE Exam but failing to crack Bank Clerical Exam. 4. LIC/NIC AAO Exam And Bank POs Exam- These jobs are Top end jobs offered in Public Sector Insurance and Banking Companies. Very tough to crack but still not impossible. In these jobs AAO of LIC and PO of SBI is very prestigious jobs. I have come across many IAS and IPS officers who failed to crack SBI's PO Exam, but cracked IAS Exam. So friend just go through a rigour preps for atleast Six months for these Exams. It can even take two -three years to Crack these exams. And Reward at the end is a good job and oppurtunity to become Chairman of some bank or Insurance Firm. 5. And at last it comes the mother of All Jobs- The Coveted IAS. Financial status plays no role in this exam. All that neede is your own hard work. Even you can go for State PCS exams too. Other options for you are IFS Exam, State Forest Services Exam and so on... |

Re: Best career option after BSc for a poor student? [Dear I am affraid but the books suggested by you are just enough to crack CDS or NDA Exam. Even Bank Clerks exam has a bit more standard. My suggestion for Books for Clerical exam is:- Maths by M. Tyra ( Banking services Chronicle) Reasoning from the same publisher. For english even a simple book will be OK For G.S. you should go through Pratiyogita Darpan, Economics Times and HIndu( At least dont go for Times of India as it will just add your page-3 knowldge. |
