The abbreviation of NET is National Eligibility Test.  NET exam consists of three papers. #1st Paper:- This paper is in both versions(Hindi and English). # 2nd Paper and 3rd Paper:- These papers are in English version maximum times. # Some departments have both versions English and Hindi. The educational qualifications regarding with NET exam are below mentioned:- # Opponents must have finished master degree in any curriculum from any approved institution. # 55% marks and 50% marks needed for Open and OBC and SC/ST opponents. The age criteria and relaxation regarding with NET exam are below mentioned:- # 20-28 years - Junior Research Fellowship. # There is no age criteria needed for Lectureship. # Relaxation:- 5 years for OBC, SC/ST and PH opponents. # Citizenship:- Opponents must be Indian. PAPER 1 - 100 Marks 50 questions of two marks each PAPER 2 - 100 Marks 50 questions of two marks each PAPER 3 - 150 Marks 75 questions of two marks each Paper 1 is common for all the candidates. paper 2 and 3 is of the subject that yopu choose to give the NET exams. All the three papers will have questions in the Objective mode Eligibilty for the UGC NET exams is Post Graduation pass with Minimum 55% marks for General and OBC candidates Minimum 50% marks for SC/ST candidates |

The acronym for NET is National Eligibility Test. UGC(University Grants Commission) conducts NET examination twice every year in the months of June and December. NET examination are conducted for these two posts:- * JRF(Junior Research Fellowship). * Lectureship. For your query, I would like to tell you that there are three papers in NET examination. * Paper- I:- Both English and Hindi version. * Paper- II and Paper- III:- Maximum times English version; But, both English and Hindi version in some sectors. The eligibility criteria required for the NET examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of post-graduation in any stream with 55% marks from any recognized university. * 50% marks granted for SC/ST contenders. * Age limit:- 20-28 yrs for JRF. NET stands for National Eligibility Test . Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam but their is also some marks criteria. For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55% above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree. Age Criteria for NET Exam is given below - For JRF Post :- Your age should be in below 28 years old. For Lectureship Post :- There is no age criteria . NET exam have 3 papers . Paper I is on English and Hindi Version . But Paper II and III are in maximum cases in English version .Some of the department have English and hindi both version . All papers contain objective question and There will be no negative marking. . |
