Re: Procedure to join CA course? I have joining CA in 2009 and passed CPT exam. After 6 months of articleship due to some circumstances i quit the course. Now I again want to register for CA exams. What should i do for renewal of articleship? Whether I again need to register for CPT or not? Can I directly register for IPCC with same NRO or not? |

Re: Procedure to join CA course? The Indian Chartered Accountancy Course is the course offered by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). It consists of three levels of examinations: 1 CPT 2 IPCC 3 Final CPT stands for Common Proficiency Test and this Examination is conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountant of India.It is the first level of Chartered Accountancy examinations. Eligibility Criteria: you must pass 10+2 to eligible for this exam, you may also have any kind of degree from recognized university to eligible for this exam. you have to get 50% of marks to pass the exam. There are two section: Section I-Fundamentals Of Accounting Mercantile Laws Section II-General Economics Quantative Aptitude Total marks-200 Marks. Pass Marks-100 Marks. There are Negative Mark-0.25. IPCC: IPCC or Integrated Professional Competence Course is the second level of Chartered Accountancy examinations. A person can take the IPCC Examination after passing CPT and nine months of study. IPCC has two groups of seven subjects. Group - I consists of four subjects and Group - II of three subjects. Re: Procedure to join CA course? To pursue Chartered Accountancy course, student must have qualified +2 level of examination. To be considered eligible for the course, +2 qualified students needs to clear Common Proficiency Test conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The registration for the test can be done even after qualifying secondary level of examination but to take the test, qualifying +2 level of exam from a recognized board is mandatory. To register for the same, one needs to contact the nearest regional council of the nstitute of Chartered Accountants of India, spread all over India or may download the registration form from the official website of the Institute. The registration process is open throughout the year.
