There atre two types of bank exams

1.BANK CLERICAL

2.BANK PO

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CLERICAL EXAM:


12th standard candidates are eligible

Age limit for this exam is 18 to 27 years

age relaxation for OBC,SC/ST candidates

Candidate should be a citizen of india

60% marks required in 12th standard

SELECTION PROCESS:

Written exam

Interview

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR PO EXAM:

Graduate candidates are eligible

Age limit for this exam is 21 to 30 years

Upper age relaxation for OBC,SC/ST candidates

Candidate should be a citizen of india

SELECTION PROCESS:

Written exam

Interview

Any degree from recognized university.

Age Criteria:

Minimum: 18 years
Maximum:28 years

Upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates is as follows:

3 years for OBC.
5 years for SC.
10 years for PWD.

Selection process:-

Written exam,

Personal interview.

Syllabus for written exam:-

General english,

Reasoning,

Numerical ability,

Marketing aptitude,

General awareness/Computer knowledge.

Eligibility for IBPS PO:

Educational qualification:

Any degree from recognized university.

Age Criteria:

Minimum: 20 years
Maximum: 30 years

Dear There,

First of all, I would like to tell you that bank examinations need not any marks or percentage criteria.

So, do not worry about marks and percentage criteria.

According to new banking amendments, Percentage criteria is not required and final year contenders are not eligible.

And, at last, medical examination is added recently in banking examinations.

Bank examinations are conducted as Clerk and PO examinations.

Bank Clerk and PO examinations are conducted by both IBPS(Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) and SBI(State Bank of India) every year at the different time interval for those contenders who want to make their future in banking sector.

The selection procedure for the IBPS and SBI Clerk and Po examinations is mentioned as below:-

* Written examination.

* GD(Group Discussion) - Only in SBI examinations.

* Personnel interview.

* Medical examination.

The eligibility criteria required for the IBPS Clerk and PO examination are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation in any discipline from any recognized college or university.

* Percentage criteria is not required.

* Final year contenders are not eligible.

* Age limit:- 18-28 yrs - IBPS Clerk.
20-30 yrs - IBPS PO.

* Age relaxation:- 3 yrs for OBc and 5 yrs for SC/SST contenders.

* Nationality:- Indian.

The eligibility criteria required for the SBI Clerk and Po examinations are prescribed as below:-

* completion of graduation in any track from any accredited college or university.

* Percentage criteria is not required.

* Final year contenders are not eligible.

* Age limit:- 18-28 yrs - SBI Clerk.
21-30 yrs - SBI PO.

* Age relaxation:- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contenders.

* Nationality:- Indian.

IBPS and SBI Clerk and PO examinations syllabus:-

* Quantitative Aptitude.

* General Awareness.

* Reasoning.

* Computer/Marketing.

* English.

The eligibility conditions for a bank clerk and bank PO are written below.

Age limit: Candidate age must be in between for clerk 18 to 28 years and fro PO,20 years to 30 years (age relaxation for reserved candidates as per Govt guide lines)

Educational Qualification: for clerk,12th with 55% score or graduation and for PO any degree from a recognized University with 55% marks for General and OBC Candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD Candidates respectively.

You have not specified what your educational background is. You can attend the bank exams for the clerical cadre posts as well as PO posts. For any of the posts, generally you need score at least 50% of marks in the graduation level to attend the bank exams. There may be relaxation in case of the educational qualifications in case of the reserved categories. The minimum criteria’s for bank exams may also change from one bank to another and also may depend on the posts also.

What is the required percentage to get qualified in any bank written exam.i know about the minimum qualifying marks.but how much i have to get to rest assure of my selection in written results
