Re: Can I give GATE exam after 5th semester exam in B.Tech? Hi, You can give GATE Exam after 5th semester exam in B.Tech because the score of GATE Examination is valid for 2 years, So you may give GATE Exam after 5th Semester exam.. |

The students of final year and the students of Pre-final year are eligible to apply for the GATE examination. The complete eligibility criteria for the GATE examination is mentioned below: 1.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture. 2.Student should be in final or pre-final year. 3.Master’s degree holders of any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications may also apply for this. So the above eligibility is required for the GATE exam. Good Luck |

Yes you can give it in 6 ht sem. Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes are eligible. All the Best... |

Re: Can I give GATE exam after 5th semester exam in B.Tech? hi... the gate score is valid for 2 years and even the third year students are eligible to give the exam,as most of the questions are asked from the subjects which have been thought till third year,you will have no problem as you are in third year you can give the exam and have the feel of the exam,you can give it again in the final year to improve your score all the best |
