Re: Can I join IAF after passing 10th Sir, My name is Rakesh Sharma From-U.P Sir, my question is that I am intermediate student (up board) .l want to join NDA and l have proper hight,chest and other eligibility.But l am not able attempt board exam for some reasion .So l will not pass in board exam. But sir, next year if l pass with good marks in PCM with (75%-85%) marks then am l able to join NDA. I shall be waiting for your answer,sir. Please reply soon(2 or 3 days),sir I am very exciting for your answe r and join NDA. Your obediently Rakesh Sharma |

Re: Can I join IAF after passing 10th Hai friend, Sorry, you can't join Indian Air force after passing 10th. You have to write NDA(National Defence Academy) Exam. UPSC conducts NDA twice in a year. Eligibility Criteria to write NDA: Nationality- Citizen of India. Sex- Unmarried male candidates. Age - 16.5 to 19 years. Educational Qualification: For Indian Army - 12th pass. For Indian Navy & Indian Air force - 12th pass with physics and Maths subjects. All the best. |

Re: Can I join IAF after passing 10th  hai, Sorry to say this you are not eligible for Indian Air force after 10th.But no need to worry you have to complete 12th and then you can apply indian air force. Indian Air Force is one of the wing of NDA.NDA stands National Defence Academy.This NDA has three wings 1.Indian army 2.Indian air force 3.Indian Navy. Eligibility Criteria: The candidate should complete the 12th standard for this exam. The candidate not required the percentage for this exam. The candidate should be citizen of India. The candidate required the PCM subjects for Indian Airforce. Age limit: The candidate minimum age limit is above 16.5 to 19 years. No age relaxation for other categories. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this exam. Girls are not eligible for this exam. Selection Process: Medical Test Interview Written Test all the best............ |

Really good decision taken in early stages.But,I am sorry to say you are not eligible to join in IAF after 10th.To join IAF first you should complete the 12th with PCM from Recognized university. After Completion of 12th you need to appear the NDA(National Defence Academy)Exam. NDA is Conducted By National Union Public Service Commission twice in every year.In months of April/may or october. NDA has three wings, Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force. I am happy to inform you that after passing 10th you are not eligible for Indian Air Force. For Indian Air Force you have to qualify the 11th and 12th with Physics and maths. After passing 12th you have to qualify the N.D.A exam. N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year. Age limit for N.D.A exam is 16.5-18 year. In order to join Indian Air force,you are required to take UPSC exam for National Defence Academy.The exam is conducted twice in a year in all the major cities of the country. If you are selected,you will have to take three years training in NDA & after that at Indian airforce Academy,then you will be posted as an officer i.e pilot at the any air port station. NDA - National Defence Academy, the exam for which is conducted by UPSC two times every year for an entry in to Indian Army , Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate aspiring for IAF, must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subject of studies from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health. So after 12th you can join IAF through cracking NDA which can only be applied through on line. Re: Can I join IAF after passing 10th hi, Sorry to say but after 10th you can not apply for the air force exam and can not be a pilot. To go in air force you will have to appear in NDA exam. For NDA exam you should have to complete minimum 12th eligibility. To apply for NDA exam you should be in age of 16.5 years. You should be the citizen of India. You should be mentally and physically fit Only male candidates can apply for NDA exam. You must choose math and physics subject to join the air force. So friend first of all complete your intermediate to apply for NDA exam Good luck.............. |
