Hai, you want to know about competitive exams for civil engineering:- 1.GATE:- GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is an all India competitive examination for Engineers from various backgrounds administered and conducted jointly by the IISc Bangalore and Seven IITs. IES:-Engineering Services Examination for recruitment in various engineering services/posts in various Government Departments. PUC's :-The pattern & Syllabus of PSU's are mixture of GATE & IES. |

Following are the total list of entrance exams that you can give for B.Tech and M.Tech in Civil engineering:- AIEEE IIT-JEE BITSAT IPU CET COMEDK GATE CUCET ENAT GMAT ISAT NAT Apart from these you can also sit for the state level entrance exams. But before giving those exams please check check whether they ask for domicile certificate or not. Because all states do not allow candidates from other states to give then exam unless and until they have got a domicile certificate. good luck

If you plan to apply for the B.Tech course then you must appear for the All India Engineering Entrance exam as this exam is conducted at the national level. All institutes expect IIT accept this score. Other than this you can appear for IIT-JEE. As of now there are entrance exams at the state level too. For admission to M.Tech course you must appear for GATE, TNPSC etc. |
